Former magazine publisher Tom Lloyd will focus on boosting the retailer’s web presence, affiliate marketing and online video promotion.
Online toy retailer KitesTailsToys.com has hired a new creative director to boost its marketing and promotional efforts. Tom Lloyd, a former magazine publisher, has extensive experience in electronic and print advertising.
Previously, Lloyd was owner as well as publisher of Oceana and Cablechannel Magazines in Ocean City, MD. In his new role, he’ll assist in enhancing the company’s web presence, further develop the retailer’s affiliate marketing program, and develop new video segments for online promotions. He’ll also be responsible for organizing and promoting the company’s Top Ten Consumer Choice Awards.
KiteTailsToys.com founder Stu Eisenman praised Lloyd’s experience and tenacity, qualities which Eisenman says will enable Lloyd to take on the diverse roles at the growing company. While Eisenman didn`t disclose numbers, the company reports that it is adding employees in all departments.
