One of every five beauty purchases online is made via the Amazon marketplace, according to a new report.
OrderDynamics has launched a recurring service on its on-demand e-commerce platform to save time for online retailers and their customers in processing recurring orders.
OrderDynamics has introduced a recurring order service to save time for retailers and their customers. The vendor of on-demand e-commerce technology last week launched Auto Ship, a feature that enables retailers to ship goods to consumers on a regular basis.
“We hear consistently from both new and current clients that recurring purchases is a key part of their sales strategy. This helped us prioritize our auto ship feature," says vice president of development Steven Berkovitz.
Retailers can offer customers the option to subscribe to the service, the company says. OrderDynamics handles recurring charges and shipping. The feature is integrated into the vendor’s existing hosted fulfillment service. Merchants can choose from several shipping frequencies and customer service reps can easily sign up shoppers for the service, the company says.
"With a click of a button, orders are downloaded, matched to shipping manifests, then printed for warehouse staff and uploaded to the shipping company for shoppers to track their orders online. And this can be done anytime throughout the day," says CEO Michael Benadiba.
Order Dynamics works with such online retailers as cosmetics merchant Balmshell.com and eSourceNutrition.com.
