Delivery Agent, which helps media companies develop e-commerce sites, appoints Philip Neri, formerly of RedEnvelope, to key role.
Delivery Agent Inc., which provides e-commerce technology for media companies such as MTV Networks and television contest show American Idol, has named the former chief financial officer of online gift retailer RedEnvelope as its senior vice president, finance and operations. Philip Neri left RedEnvelope upon its sale to Liberty Media Corp. earlier this year.
In his new role, Neri will oversee driving the execution and overall profitability of Delivery Agent’s entertainment shopping business. “Phil’s extensive experience in the e-commerce and specialty retail industry makes him uniquely qualified to lead Delivery Agent’s next phase of growth,” says CEO Mike Fitzsimmons. “He has an incredible and diverse set of experiences and a seasoned perspective that will be a great addition to our senior management team.”
Neri has extensive experience in retail, having worked in finance and merchandising positions at Restoration Hardware, No 83 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide to Retail Web Sites, Williams-Sonoma, No. 21, and Gump’s San Francisco.
Delivery Agent has developed more than 90 branded shopping sites for its media company clients as well as SeenON.com, an online shopping destination for products seen on screen in entertainment productions.
