When a site is accessed by a dial-up connection, mass merchandise retailers provided the fastest average access at 50.22 seconds, Gomez says. The next fastest category was apparel and accessories retailers at 53.96 seconds, followed by apparel/accessories merchants at 53.96 seconds.
Mass merchandise sites provided the fastest low broadband access in August at 18.41 seconds.
