The acquisition will add more than 300 products to L’Oreal’s lineup.
UK-based Aegis Group plc, which acquired U.S. SEO firm iProspect in 2004, has purchased rmsarcar.com gmbh, a search marketing and optimization firm based. Aegis will rename the firm iProspect Germany as it moves to make iProspect a global brand.
Aegis Group plc, the UK-based parent company of U.S. search marketing firm iProspect, has purchased German search engine marketing and optimization firm rmsarcar.com gmbh and will rebrand it iProspect Germany, part of a process of turning iProspect into a globally recognized brand.
“Our successful acquisition of iProspect in 2004 has put us ahead in search engine marketing expertise,” says Robert Lerwill, CEO of Aegis. “We are now in the process of turning iProspect into a global brand, with a presence across the U.S., Europe and Asia already established. Today’s acquisition gives us a significant foothold in Germany, fast-tracking our expertise, bringing in local client relationships and enabling us to offer the full iProspect services to all our clients in Germany.”
Aegis says the acquisition will expand its search marketing business in Germany by bringing in rmsarcar.com’s roster of German clients and raising its profile in the country. Rmascar.com, with gross assets of $7.85 million, will operate as part of Aegis’ global digital marketing unit, Isobar, which has more than 3,000 employees in 38 countries.
Aegis acquired iProspect in 2004 for $50 million, but has retained the iProspect brand.
