Perfume.com is now delivering its fragrance, hair and skin care products to Canada, Europe and Mexico. The web-only retailer is luring international customers with a 10% discount on orders placed before May 30.
The scent of Perfume.com’s fragrances is wafting across U.S. borders to Canada and Mexico and over the ocean to Europe. The web-only retailer has extended its delivery range to makes its 12,000 fragrance, hair and skin care products available to international shoppers.
The expansion in shipping capabilities for Perfume.com moves the retailer into global commerce and represents an opportunity for significant traffic and revenue growth, the company says. As an incentive, first-time international customers will receive a 10% discount on purchases made before May 30, 2008.
Perfume.com also has upgraded its web site by adding consumer feedback and reviews, an automated recommendation engine, searchable international brands and seasonal promotions. The company says it plans to provide richer community content and interactivity opportunities for consumers in the coming months.
“Perfume.com is thrilled to finally offer the experience and savings that have benefited our U.S. patrons since 2003,” says Jonathan Ehrlich, president. “This marks the start of many significant changes to the site that we will be rolling out over the next six weeks.”
