The new Bazaarvoice Radius program is designed to speed adoption of social commerce by marketers, agencies and vendors. To participate in Radius, a vendor must integrate at least one product with the Bazaarvoice technology for serving up online reviews.
To support the integration of social commerce applications into the technologies and services that power marketing programs on the web, online ratings and reviews services vendor Bazaarvoice has launched Bazaarvoice Radius, a program designed to speed adoption of social commerce by marketers, agencies, and technology vendors.
To participate in Radius, a vendor must integrate at least one product with the Bazaarvoice technology for serving up online ratings and reviews. Radius provides a directory of technology integrations already developed by Bazaarvoice or its partners that combine user-generated content with e-commerce platforms, e-mail marketing systems, analytics programs and other services. When technology and services vendors use Bazaarvoice, they will now have access to Radius for help in integrating social marketing.
“The rise of all things social – media, commerce and networking – has created a mandate for every business to develop new marketing strategies focused around customer- to-customer conversations and user-generated content,” says Brett Hurt, CEO of Bazaarvoice. “In turn, every company in our industry must support social initiatives or risk falling behind the competition.”
Bazaarvoice Radius, accessible on Bazaarvoice’s web site, lists and shows examples of e-commerce, advertising and interactive services technology integration with Bazarrvoice’s user -generated content applications. According to Bazaarvoice, this allows marketers to research in one place the many integrations it’s already completed with vendors of online marketing technologies.
Technology and service providers that wish to partner with Bazaarvoice can access the tools they need to integrate their own offerings with Bazaarvoice’s user-generated content via the Radius platform. For example, partners get access to XML data feeds, web services application interfaces and implementation support from the Bazaarvoice team, the company says.
Marketers can view Radius and see examples of integrations on Bazaarvoice`s web site. Access to integration tools and support on the Radius platform is available for free to vendors that integrate their technology with Bazaarvoice.
