The Internet accounted for about 16% of total sales for the fiscal year ended December 29, 2007, compared with 13% of total revenue in FY 2006.
Overall full-year sales were $562.8 million, a 9.9 % increase from fiscal 2006. Same-store sales increased 5% year-over-year. Brookstone reported income of $39.9 million for fiscal 2007, compared with $30.6 million for the prior year.
For the fourth quarter of 2007, the company reported total sales of $288.5 million, a 12.7 % increase from $256.1 million in the prior year quarter. Same-store sales increased 5.2 % compared with the same quarter last year.
Fourth quarter 2007 income was $64.6 million for Brookstone, No. 146 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, up about 6.3% from $60.8 million in Q4 2006.
