Responsys, a provider of on-demand e-mail and marketing automation services, has named Antonio Casacuberta chief technology officer. Casacuberta is former CTO of Infospace.
Responsys Inc., a provider of on-demand e-mail and marketing automation services, has named Antonio Casacuberta chief technology officer. Casacuberta is former CTO of Infospace Inc. He will be is responsible for driving Responsys’ technical strategy and leading technical innovation and expansion. He will also manage Responsys’ development group, which the company plans to expand by 30 engineers in the next quarter.
Casacuberta has 20 years of software development experience. At Infospace, Casacuberta led the company’s product software development, including the release of search properties such as Dogpile, metacrawler, and Switchboard.com, as well as mobile search products. Prior to Infospace, Casacuberta spent 10 years at Oracle in management positions where he planned, staffed and led technology development and implementation projects.
Clients of Redwood City, CA-based Responsys include Apple, Lands’ End, LEGO, Liz Claiborne and PETCO.
