Prior to joining AMR Research, he served as senior vice president of analyst relations at Hill & Knowlton, where he was responsible for providing strategic positioning and messaging support to clients such as Business Objects, Deloitte Consulting, Hewlett-Packard, Motorola, Qualcomm, Symantec, VeriSign and Yahoo.
Before Hill & Knowlton, Yarmis was a vice president of enterprise strategies at Waggener Edstrom Strategic Communications, where he provided senior analyst relations counsel to clients including MasterCard, Microsoft and Vignette. He also has held senior level positions at media and research companies including Gartner Inc., where he spent 10 years as an industry analyst.
