Mercado Software Inc., provider of search and merchandising technology for online retailers, has hired Justin Foley as vice president of North American sales.
Foley has been in software sales management for 19 years. He was a business unit executive at IBM, where he was a member of the field sales management team for software serving enterprises and small and mid-sized businesses. He has also worked for Exterprise Inc., where he was responsible for global and channel sales development, prior to its acquisition by Commerce One. At Commerce One, he led the utilities and health care verticals, as well as SAP joint sales. He most recently managed central region sales for enterprise resource planning vendor Lawson Software.
Mercado’s search customers include Sears Holdings Corp., GUESS Inc., Williams-Sonoma Inc., OfficeMax, Macy`s, ShopNBC, Delightful Deliveries and Organize.com.
