The search giant today rolled out new ways for marketers to understand the in-store impact of their ads.
Rand Schulman, formerly CMO of WebSideStory and a founder of the Web Analytics Association, is the new general manager of Unica’s Internet marketing solutions group.
Marketing analytics software provider Unica has named Rand Schulman, the former chief of marketing at analytics provider WebSideStory and a founder of the Web Analytics Association, as general manager of its Internet marketing solutions group.
Schulman brings over 20 years of industry experience to Unica, having also headed product strategy at WebTrends/NetIQ earlier in his career. He also held executive positions at a number of software companies and was the founder of KeyLime Software, since acquired by Yahoo.
The company says the appointment deepens Unica’s commitment to the web analytics and Internet marketing applications market. In June 2006, the company added web analytics solution Affinium NetInsight to its enterprise marketing management software suite, enabling it to deliver integrated offline and online marketing analysis and reporting. Unica also has launched its Internet Marketing Alliance Program to strengthen alignment with partners whose services or technology complements Unica’s online and offline marketing solutions.
