Former Agenda LLC co-owner Seth Haber is tasked with turning around the bankrupt web retailer.
Mindy C. Meads has been named president and chief merchandising officer of Aeropostale Inc., a mall-based specialty retailer of casual and active apparel for teens and which also sells online. Meads is the former president and CEO of Lands’ End.
Mindy C. Meads has been named president and chief merchandising officer of Aeropostale Inc., a mall-based specialty retailer of casual and active apparel for teens and which also sells online, ranking No. 495 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide.
Meads most recently was president of Victoria’s Secret Direct, a division of Limited Brands Inc. From 1991 to 2005, Meads was with Lands’ End, except for 1996-1998 when she was senior vice president, merchandising, design, planning and allocation at Gymboree Corp. At Lands’ End, Meads was president and CEO before she left to join Victoria’s Secret. Prior to 1991, Meads managed apparel at R.H. Macy & Co. as senior vice president, Macy`s South, and as vice president, merchandise administrator.

Aeropostale designs, sources, markets and sells all of its own merchandise. In addition to its web site Aeropostale.com, the company operates 728 Aeropostale stores in 47 states and 14 Jimmy’Z stores in 11 states.
