J. Jill names a new head of marketing

J. Jill, a unit of The Talbots Inc., has named Hilary Chasin senior vice president and chief marketing officer. She will oversee J. Jill’s marketing efforts across all channels. She will report directly to J. Jill president Philip Kowalczyk.

 

J. Jill, a unit of The Talbots Inc., has named Hilary Chasin senior vice president and chief marketing officer. She will oversee J. Jill’s marketing efforts across all channels. She will report directly to J. Jill president Philip Kowalczyk.

“We are delighted to welcome such a strong retail talent to the J. Jill team,” said Mr. Kowalczyk. “With more than 20 years of expertise in footwear and apparel, Hilary brings extensive multichannel experience in both creative and strategic marketing, which will prove invaluable as we continue to build the J. Jill brand.”

Chasin previously was senior vice president of marketing at Ann Taylor Loft, where she was responsible for managing the company’s integrated marketing programs for its retail and direct-to-consumer businesses. Prior to that, she held management positions with DELiA*S and Foot Locker Worldwide.
