More than half of the maternity apparel retailer’s online traffic comes from mobile shoppers.
Bill Bass, formerly Lands’ End senior vice president responsible for e-commerce and international sales, has joined the board at Figleaves.com to help their expansion plans.
Former Lands’ End executive Bill Bass has joined the board of directors of Figleaves.com, retailers of lingerie, underwear and swimwear, as part of the company’s plans to expand in the U.S. and internationally.
Bass was senior vice president at Lands’ End responsible for e-commerce and international sales. Following the sale of Lands’ End to Sears, Bass also served as General Manager of Sears’ direct to customer division.
Bass is currently CEO of start-up company Fair Indigo, a multi-channel retailer of fair trade apparel, and serves on the board of Marc Ecko Enterprises. U.K.-based Figleaves entered the US market three years ago.
“Bill already has done much of what we plan to do and his advice will be of tremendous value to us as we grow our domestic U.S. business and expand our operation overseas,” said Figleaves.com founder and CEO Daniel Nabarro.
