Communicate.com’s revenue broke down into $799,912 in product sales, compared to $373,651 a year ago, and $250,143 in advertising revenues, up 57% from $159,456 a year earlier.
First half revenues reached $2.03 million, up 65% from $1.23 million a year earlier. First half net income was $249,142, up 50% from $166,095 a year earlier. First half product sales reached $1.44 million from $603,212 a year ago while advertising revenues reached $587,480, up 160% from $226,004.
Communicate.com owns, develops and markets approximately 900 web sites, including such names as Perfume.com, Importers.com, Karate.com, Body.com and Boxing.com. Revenue comes from the sale of consumer goods, advertising and travel products at its network of b2c and b2b sites. It reports that it completed the acquisition of 700 domain names in the second quarter.
