Globat.com, a provider of web-hosting services, has appointed Scott Averbach, founder and former CEO of affiliate network OnResponse.com, as director of online marketing.
Globat.com, a provider of web-hosting services, has appointed Scott Averbach, founder and former president and CEO of affiliate network OnResponse.com, as director of online marketing.
Averbach will be responsible for all of Globat.com’s online marketing functions, including marketing strategy and development, affiliate and reseller marketing, product marketing and management, and channel development. "Scott brings a proven track record of pioneering online marketing to our firm," said Globat.com CEO Ben R. Neumann, adding that Averbach will help Globat.com build a global marketing program.
Prior to joining Globat.com, Averbach served as president of content and web production company Sialogic Inc. Earlier, he served as a senior executive of ValueClick Inc., to which he sold the OnResponse.com cost-per-acquisition affiliate network in 2001.
Globat.com, based in Los Angeles, provides web-hosting services, including full e-commerce packages, shopping carts and e-mail applications, to more than 75,000 customers worldwide.
