Online retail sales up 21% for week ending April 10

Online sales were up 21% for the week ending April 10 over the corresponding week a year ago, reaching $1.53 billion from $1.26 billion, comScore Networks Inc. reports.

 

Online sales were up 21% for the week ending April 10 over the corresponding week a year ago, reaching $1.53 billion from $1.26 billion, comScore Networks Inc. reports.

By comparison, total retail sales for the week ending April 2 were down 0.7% from the same week a year ago, reports ShopperTrak’s National Retail Sales Estimate.

Online travel sales for week ending April 10 were up 27% to $1.17 billion from $929 million in the corresponding week a year ago, comScore reports.
