Apple hosted 4.34 million unique visitors, followed by Dell Inc. with 3.84 million, Hewlett-Packard Co. with 2.8 million, Gateway Inc. with 573,000 and Logitech Inc., with 299,000. Total unique audience to hardware manufacturers’ sites that week was 10.5 million.
Nielsen/NetRatings also reported that among retail goods and services advertisers, the books, movies and music category garnered the most online ad impressions with 1.174 billion. The other top categories and the number of ad impressions for the week were:
