At AMR, where he had served as a retail industry analyst since 1999, Girard founded the AMR Research Retail Advisory Service and advised retailers on such technology applications as price optimization, advanced planning, demand replenishment and store execution management.
Following his appointment as vice president at i2, Girard said he looked forward to working with i2’s "scalable and modular retail applications backed by analytics and optimization."
