Web Marketing Association announces winner of Web Design Awards

Web site design firm Fry Inc. has won 17 awards in the Web Marketing Association’s WebAwards competition. The association recognized Fry as Top Agency for 2003.

Web site design firm Fry Inc. has won 17 awards in the Web Marketing Association’s WebAwards competition. The association recognized Fry as Top Agency for 2003.

Three of Fry’s client sites received Best in Category awards, including Graco Children’s Products GracoBaby.com in the consumer goods category. Fourteen received Standard of Excellence Awards including in the retail category Frontgate.com, Godiva.com, Home & Garden Television Store, Food Network Store, Cutco.com, PersonalCreations.com and Waterford.com.

Other winners of Standard of Excellence awards in the retail category were:
Lenox.com, design by Refinery Inc.
Nike Running, Nike Goddess and Nike Basketball, all by R/GA
RizCamera.com, in-house design
electronics site SmallDog.com, in-house design
LakeChamplainChocolate.com, Tag New Media
LLBean.com, in-house design.

Hewlett Packard`s HPShopping.com won as the best computer retailer web site.

Other winners included b2b site StaplesLink.com, in-house design; Gap Inc.’s corporate web site gapinc.com, in -house design; and Big Lots corporate web site by Zero Time Interactive. Google AdWords won the Best Advertising Web Site award.

This is the seventh year for the WebAward Competition for website excellence. All winners are at webaward.org.
