Buy.com’s Sports Store will offer products for team sports, water sports, winter sports, hiking, hunting, fishing, exercise, running, tennis and golf as well as sports and fitness apparel and footwear.
Online retailer Buy.com Inc. is launching a Sports Store, featuring 65,000 new products. "The opening of our Sports Store signifies Buy.com`s entrance into a whole new area of consumer products and further establishes us as a destination for much more than consumer electronics, computer and entertainment products," said Brent Rusick, chief operating officer at Buy.com.
The Sports Store will offer products for team sports, water sports, winter sports, hiking, hunting, fishing, exercise, running, tennis and golf. It will also offer sports and fitness apparel and footwear. Brands will include Wilson, Adidas, Puma, New Balance, Fila, Penn and Speedo. In addition to sporting goods, Buy.com`s Sports Store will also offer recreational products such as patio and deck accessories and indoor/outdoor games such as table tennis and board games.
Last week, Buy announced an expansion of its electronics store, adding 2,500 home and mobile electronics products.
