Taking the measure of affiliate marketing networks

How does your affiliate network compare to others?

Affiliate marketing networks are getting huge, reports The AffStat2003 report on affiliate marketing programs. In fact, 47% of marketers who have affiliate programs have 1,000 or more affiliates, and 8% have more than 20,000. Yet while those affiliates are driving traffic, only 16% of marketers pay commissions in a month to 10% or more of their affiliates. Those are a few of metrics that author Shawn Collins of AffiliateManager.net reports from his survey of more than 100 affiliate managers from a cross-section of industries.
