EXE gets a new president

EXE Technologies, a provider of supply chain software, has named Joe Cowan as president and CEO.

 

EXE Technologies Inc., a provider of supply chain software, has named Joe Cowan as president and CEO. The company reported that Ken Powell has resigned as president and COO.

Cowan, who will join EXE in November, most recently was chief operating officer of Baan, Wonderware and Avantis, as well as president of Invensys Manufacturing and Process Systems. EXE says he has more than 30 years of general management experience in several large, multi-national companies.

"We are pleased to add Joe`s global leadership experience to EXE`s management team," said Ray Hood, chairman of EXE Technologies. "We believe that Joe`s experience and background will be invaluable to the company in today`s challenging global economic environment.”
