Demandware says 30 of its clients booked more than $100 million in online sales in 2015, up from 22 a year earlier.
Tweeter Home Entertainment Group is re-launching Tweeter.com with e-commerce provider GSI Commerce Inc. as a retail site featuring the same home entertainment products sold in Tweeter and HiFi Buys stores.
Tweeter Home Entertainment Group, under a new profit-sharing agreement with e-commerce provider GSI Commerce Inc., is re-launching Tweeter.com as a retail site for many of the same home entertainment products sold in Tweeter and HiFi Buys stores.
The new site replaces the former Tweeter.com, which was operated through a joint venture with Cyberian Outpost but discontinued in February when Outpost was acquired by Fry’s Electronics. "We designed the new site to be similar to the in-store experience, another shopping and research option for our customers," a Tweeter spokeswoman says.
Under the agreement with GSI Commerce, Tweeter will handle merchandising and branding, and direct the overall look and feel of the site. GSI will handle order processing, fulfillment, customer service and the site’s technical support.
Tweeter.com will provide information on new technology and shopping guides for 50 product categories. In addition, it will offer brand spotlights to promote the purchase of particular brands. For products not readily available online, the site will provide information on availability in the nearest Tweeter or HiFi Buys store.
