Retailers and consumer products companies can now access Transora online

Chicago-based Transora, a B2B e-marketplace, is offering a new online database of product information to help retailers and manufacturers streamline their relationships.

Chicago-based Transora, a leading B2B e-marketplace for the global consumer products industry, is introducing its global, standards-based Data Catalogue, a one-stop repository of product information that enables manufacturers and retailers to synchronize product information online and avoid costly order and invoice errors. Manufacturers can load hundreds of product attributes, such as package size, nutritional information and electronic product images.

Based on a standardized platform from i2 Technologies, Transora’s Data Catalogue is customized application tailored for the CPG industry. The scalable technology enables manufacturers to store all relevant information about all of their products in a format that retailers can synchronize with their existing computer systems.
