Demandware says 30 of its clients booked more than $100 million in online sales in 2015, up from 22 a year earlier.
Bloomingdales.com is adding a list of top ten gifts, a wish list and a wireless interactive window display for the holiday shopping season.
Bloomingdales.com plans to add several bells and whistles to its web site for the upcoming holiday season. The features will go live at the beginning of November. To help shoppers find gifts, the site will feature a list of top ten most popular gifts, top ten list of gifts only at Bloomingdale`s and a top ten list of gifts under $100. The store on 59th St. in New York City will feature an interactive window display that will allow consumers to download lists to Personal Digital Assistant handheld devices. The company says it is using infrared technology that beams lists to PDAs. Bloomingdales.com also will add a wish list feature, content showing how Bloomingdale`s builds its lavish window displays via a live webcast and a section on holiday home planning. Bloomingdales.com plans to donate sales proceeds for a World Wildlife Fund Snowglobe that it will sell online.
