JCPenney.com relaunched its shopping site with improved search engine, navigation and categories.

JCPenney.com relaunched its shopping site with improved search engine, navigation and categories. The merchandise is categorized by brand, size and theme, and has improved photo images. Shoppers are now shown complete outfits and can get information on styles colors and trends. The site also has a gift registry and gift finder as well as a two-click checkout for registered shoppers. "We wanted to a create a customer-centric shopping experience, not a product-oriented experience" said Paul Pappajohn, president of JCPenney.com. "They can take different search paths depending on how they are shopping."
