Miss boo, the virtual shopping gal-pal, returns to Boo.com this fall with a new look, new information, new items and a new owner. This time around, the site is creating a community of style scouts to contribute obscure fashion and lifestyle finds from around the globe. Visitors to Boo.com can complete a 20-question quiz, with topics ranging from Friday night activities to favorite style icons to favorite vices. Those who complete the quiz are entered into a sweepstakes to win $1,000 in a random drawing to be held in October. Style scouts are given access to a password-protected message board, allowing them to post their global finds, some of which may eventually be offered for sale. In addition, style-scouts will be alerted to special Boo.com offers and events. Boo.com is a division of Fashionmall.com, Inc., having been acquired in June, upon the original Boo.com's liquidation. Fashionmall.com, Inc. operates vertical portals focused on fashion, accessories, footwear, beauty and related lifestyle products, and generates revenue by selling advertising to vendors and from transaction fees on sales.
