Online Valet Service Launches

e-Valet Inc., a new Web management service for completing routine errands and tasks online, has officially launched its Web site today. In a variety of categories, customers can comparison shop for services that help them complete their errands, both online and offline. These categories include groceries, bill paying, pharmacies, pet supplies, restaurants, tickets and others. Customers may also access e-Valet's local service recommendation system to find quality services in their community, says the San Francisco-based firm. Online and local service profiles can be accessed by city, consumer necessity, costs and vendor policies. Customers can view comments and ratings from other e-Valet members on their experiences with these service providers, as well as evaluate and post comments themselves. In addition to listings and recommendations, e-Valet provides registered members with an assortment of tools, including personalized to-do lists and preference listings. Membership to the e-Valet community and access to e-Valet's services is free, the company says. Local service recommendations are currently provided for Chicago, Dallas, New York, San Francisco and San Jose.
