The average return on Facebook ad spend rises 26% in Q3, according to social media advertising firm Nanigans.
NextCard today released the NextCard eCommerce Index for August that shows consumer spending over the Internet. Overall merchant movement in the Index was limited but summer travel planning stood out. Basic goods providers such as gas, groceries and phone service continued to perform well. Priceline Gas and Priceline Air Tickets posted strong gains in the Index, along with long distance providers AOL Long Distance and BigZoo. ãConsumers are increasingly using the Internet to purchase gas, groceries and phone service primarily with recognized, trusted online merchants,ä says Lisa Subramanian, vice president of e-commerce at NextCard.
