@plan.inc, an online business-to-business exchange, has launched a merchandising and market research system focused on three e-retail categories: automotive, travel and general merchandising. The company says its E-Tailgraphics System, which will be sold via annual subscriptions, will allow Internet merchants to determine how well they are attracting targeted customer markets and assess their ability to bring in new customer segments. The system also includes modules for measuring consumer satisfaction and repurchase intentions and for profiling demographics, psychographic attitudes and online shopping habits. The company says it will update the system quarterly with data from 15,000 online shoppers.
