Demandware says 30 of its clients booked more than $100 million in online sales in 2015, up from 22 a year earlier.
Casual clothing retailer GUESS? Inc., Los Angeles, says it is extending its retail presence with BabyGUESS.com, an online store selling apparel and accessories for newborns, infants and toddlers. BabyGUESS.com emulates the company's existing e-commerce Web sites, GUESS.com and GUESSkids.com, in terms of navigation and page layout, says the company, but it has a unique visual design and color scheme. Customers can use a single electronic shopping cart for all three sites. Anything purchased online can be returned or exchanged at any of the Baby GUESS? and GUESS? Kids stores, it says.
BabyGUESS.com features an online gift registry tied to an email delivery system that will send out a wish list to any number of friends or family members. The site also features G-Style, a visual merchandising tool, to help consumers select coordinated outfits. Also, for a limited time, users receive free shipping with any online purchase, says the retailer.
