The e-retailer spends at least 50% of its monthly display ad budget on the highly targeted, data-driven—and often cheap—ad placements using programmatic platforms.
A quarterly survey by Greenfield Online, an Internet market research company, showed that more than 50% of Internet users are aware of Flooz Inc., The Online Gift Currency. Flooz.com also leaped to the number one gift site, reaching more than 1 million users in June, according to Media Metrix's monthly ranking.
The Greenfield Online Survey reported that brand awareness among Internet users of Flooz rose during the second quarter of 2000 from 42% to 57%. The surge in brand awareness and traffic can also be attributed to Flooz.com's holiday-specific advertising, including Father's Day and Graduation, and everyday advertising featuring Flooz.com spokesperson and partner, Whoopi Goldberg.
