The search giant today rolled out new ways for marketers to understand the in-store impact of their ads.
Beautymerchant.com says that orders by new customers have increased for the second quarter of 2000 over the first quarter. The online store presently carries 8,000 products, including fragrances, perfumes, beauty accessories and hair care products, which became fully operational in the first quarter of 2000, has pledged to beat any competitor's price for an exact item plus 5% when purchased in the Internet within seven days of purchase. The company says it expects to increase its retail selection of products to 9,000 by the end of August, and it expects to add more women-oriented products on the site throughout the year. It will continue to offer free shipping for purchases over $30 until the fall, adds Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Beautymerchant.com.
