CALGARY, Alta. – October 27, 2009 – Hockey Canada and Elastic Path Software have teamed up for a multi-year agreement that will see Elastic Path develop and support a new online store that provides an exciting online shopping experience for all Team Canada fans.

The new partnership includes the development of a shopper-friendly online store that includes packaging and shipping services and will be supported by a customer service approach that includes bilingual operators, electronic messaging and live email. Team Canada hockey fans will have access to a wide range of merchandise, much of which will only be found through the online store. In addition, subscribers and ticket holders will be offered a variety of unique goods and will be first in line for new product offerings.
Scott Smith, Hockey Canada`s chief operating officer, feels this agreement will have benefits for fans of all ages, for those living not only in Canada, but also abroad, as they follow Canada`s teams throughout the hockey season.
