Now Small and Medium Enterprise Businesses Can Access Multiple Payment Service Connectivity Directly From Microsoft® Commerce Server

NEW YORK, January 12, 2009 – Cactus Commerce and IP Commerce, Inc. today jointly announced a partnership designed to add payment capabilities to Microsoft® Commerce Server. Leveraging each company’s expertise in their respective spaces, the partnership will deliver unique, value-added payment products to the market. The first outcome of this partnership is the launch of Payment Accelerator for Microsoft® Commerce Server 2007 and future releases. The software allows small and medium enterprise customers the ability to quickly and affordably integrate multiple payment connections with multiple service providers.

With the release of Payment Accelerator, Microsoft® Commerce Server customers can enable payments from their e-commerce solutions, offering deeper payment options across multiple payment providers. In addition, companies integrating payment options through Commerce Server Payment Accelerator (a PA-DSS certified solution) will be offered a quick path to demonstrating PCI compliance, addressing the often time-consuming and costly security mandates to protect customer payment data.
