GSI Commerce and Wilsons The Leather Experts Inc. Extend E-Commerce Partnership

KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., Jan. 9 , 2007 – GSI Commerce Inc. (Nasdaq: GSIC), a leading provider of e-commerce solutions, and Wilsons The Leather Experts Inc. (Wilsons Leather), a leading specialty retailer of leather outerwear, accessories and apparel in the United States, have extended their e-commerce agreement for Web technology, logistics, customer care and marketing services, which includes online marketing (search, comparison shopping and affiliate), photo studio, e-mail marketing and design services.

“Wilsons Leather has a much better e-commerce business today as a result of partnering with GSI,” says Teri Hilden, director of merchandising and e-commerce for Wilsons Leather. “By operating or helping to operate online stores for 60 retailers, GSI grows its collective and collaborative capabilities. As a partner, we can tap into this well of e-commerce expertise and put it to work for our online business.”

Since launching on GSI’s platform in 2004, Wilsons Leather has consolidated its operations on GSI’s integrated e-commerce platform and also improved and expanded its online marketing capabilities. GSI and Wilsons Leather have successfully executed Web-only promotions, such as one-day sales and buy-one/get-one offers and have created e-mail marketing campaigns featuring promotion emails and fashion-oriented emails emphasizing how Wilsons Leather’s different product lines can be worn together.

In addition, GSI helped reinvigorate Wilsons Leather’s affiliate marketing program and built new relationships with the major comparative shopping engines. GSI has also provided Wilsons Leather with a backorder capability as well as the ability to ship to multiple addresses within a single order. Value-added services such as gift wrapping and the ability to redeem gift cards online have also been added to the site. During 2006, Wilsons Leather updated their brand and product lines. GSI responded with a redesigned Web store that included the new look and feel, new navigation features, the mini-cart™ shopping feature, the tracking and display of “recently viewed” products, new leather product swatches and a new product page.

“We actively work with our partners to take their e-commerce business beyond the fundamentals. We help them unlock the strategic value that their online businesses can generate in support of their brand,” said Steve Davis, senior vice president of partner services for GSI Commerce. “We are happy to have Wilsons Leather extend their e-commerce agreement and we look forward to continuing our successful partnership.”
