CafePress Inc. is gearing up for the holidays.

The personalized products web merchant, No. 110 in the Internet Retailer 2013 Top 500 Guide, plans to add more than 800 temporary workers at its main production facility in Louisville, KY, to help it keep up with holiday orders; that increased staffing will nearly triple the number of workers at the facility.

The retailer, which sells personalized items including T-shirts, coffee mugs and stationery, says it needs the extra staff to prepare for a surge in holiday-related orders. It  said during a July conference call with analysts that it expects to generate roughly $95 million to $104 million in fourth-quarter sales this year, roughly 38% of its total sales for the year.

CafePress says it plans to add most of the staff this month.
