The top line grew, but not the bottom for Geeknet Inc. in the second quarter.
For the quarter ended June 30, Geeknet, No. 192 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, reported:
“We are beginning to realize the benefits of our focus on driving toward profitable growth in 2011, as both our ThinkGeek and Media businesses delivered strong revenue growth in the second quarter," said says executive chairman Ken Langone.
Internet Retailer calculates e-commerce accounted for 71.5% of total sales compared with 69.3% in the second quarter of 2010.
For the first two quarters:
