E-commerce sales decline 10% in Q1 for Dmail

The web accounted for 60.2% of all revenue, but total sales dropped 6.7%.

Sales, including e-commerce, were down across the board for Dmail Group SpA, an Italian publishing and online retailing company that owns and operates Dmail.it.

For the first quarter ended March 31, Dmail, No. 134 in the Internet Retailer Top 300 Europe reported:

Internet Retailer calculates the web accounted for 60.2% of total sales compared with 62.4% in the first quarter of 2010.

In the first quarter, Dmail ceased operating Buy on the Web SpA, another e-commerce site, which sold consumer electronics and related merchandise. Dmail.it is an e-commerce site that sells items for the home, garden and office.

Dmail also owns and operates Dcomfort.it and Dgarden.it.
