(NYSE Amex: INUV), an online technology and services company, announced today that it has partnered with Extrabux, Inc. to create a comparison shopping API with integrated cash back and coupon discounts for users. The application will be available to web publishers and mobile application developers. Inuvo will focus on technical integration and sales of the API-based service, dubbed BargainMatch™. With two publishers already signed, BargainMatch is now market ready.
BargainMatch is the second application built around the Inuvo Platform, the central data hub for Inuvo’s products and services. The application will allow publishers to build around the API, or utilize a private-labeled template that Inuvo provides. In both cases, the objective is to deliver an integrated shopping comparison experience to users. Consumers may shop within this custom portal to access coupons and receive up to 30 percent cash back on purchases made at over 1,600 of the web’s top merchants.

In addition, BargainMatch partners may customize their implementations to offer their own customers various rewards incentives in addition to just cash back. “We designed the API to give partners maximum flexibility,” continued Chrysler. “An airline partner might pay users in airline miles; a not-for-profit might allow its supporters to donate the cash to their cause. It was important that the technology allow for custom experiences for each partner so they can maximize the incentive for their users.”
