Costume SuperCenter has launched an m-commerce site just in time for All Hallows Eve.
The site, available at CostumeSuperCenter.mobi, offers six navigation links accessible from the home page including Click to Browse, Contact Us, Shipping Policy and Returns Policy.
When shoppers click to browse, they can navigate through one of 16 categories including Boys, Girls, Women’s and Men’s, as well as more specific categories, such as Christmas Costumes, Pet and Mascot Costumes, and St. Patrick’s Day Costumes. Then they can dig deeper, for example to access all 1920s girl costumes or pirate-themed boy costumes.
“We see m-commerce not just as an opportunity for Costume SuperCenter but a necessity for meeting the needs of all our customers. We are very excited to be one of the first Halloween costume web sites to offer a fully functional mobile commerce site, especially now that the Halloween buying season is upon us,” says Jim Moore, director of marketing.
Shoppers also can use their e-commerce member log-in on the m-commerce site to access saved billing and shipping information. The site also features a persistent top navigation menu—meaning it is present on every page—offering access to the e-commerce site, an option to search, a view of the shopping cart including how many items are in it, and a link to log in as a member.
Costume SuperCenter was launched by Party City founder Steve Mandell in 2005.
