Inmar Names Jeff Pepperworth to Serve as President of Reverse Logistics

Inmar today announced that it has named Jeff Pepperworth to serve as the company's president of reverse logistics.

Winston-Salem, NC, June 2, 2010 - Inmar today announced that it has named Jeff Pepperworth to serve as the company's president of reverse logistics. Pepperworth, currently senior director of materials management at Cleveland Clinic, a nationally top-ranked hospital by U.S. News & World Report, will assume the role on June 14, 2010. Pepperworth will report to L. David Mounts, Inmar CEO.

"Jeff is a seasoned and versatile leader, bringing with him a wealth of experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation and operations. He is extremely client focused and has significant experience in providing solutions for a wide array of industries," said Mounts. "His range of expertise will serve him well as he leads our reverse logistics team to provide technology driven solutions for our clients."

In his role as Cleveland Clinic's senior director of materials management, Pepperworth led the design and conversion of a manual materials system to a new, highly automated underground service center. This fully integrated operation consisted of an Automated Guided Vehicle System (AGVS), a state of the art Order Fulfillment System (OFS) and a Warehouse Management System (WMS) that interfaced with the AGVS. This initiative enabled the company to increase its throughput and exceed its environmental sustainability goals.

Prior to Cleveland Clinic, Pepperworth held several senior leadership positions at UPS. His positions included senior vice president of global logistics and distribution, vice president of central U.S. operations and vice president of transportation. In his executive management roles, he worked with senior level supply chain management in high tech, consumer goods, healthcare, apparel, and automotive sectors to develop solutions that aligned with the needs of the specific industry, ranging from the highly critical controls of the healthcare arena to the more focused processes of consumer goods. His experience in total quality management (TQM), ISO9002, six sigma, lean manufacturing and warehouse management systems combined with his diverse industry knowledge enable his out-of-the-box approaches to developing solutions.
