Keynote reports a slight revenue decline

Keynote Systems, which measures and tests Internet and mobile sites, says revenue declined 1.0% to $19.4 million in its fiscal second quarter ended March 31 from $19.6 million a year earlier.

Keynote Systems, which measures and tests Internet and mobile sites, says revenue declined 1.0% to $19.4 million in its fiscal second quarter ended March 31 from $19.6 million a year earlier.

The company also reported for the quarter:

"For the fiscal second quarter 2010, we are especially pleased that an important component of our Internet subscription revenue—our web measurement revenue—increased for the first time in six quarters and price per page showed signs of stabilization,” says Umang Gupta, chairman and CEO. “Looking ahead, we are hopeful that if this trend were to continue, then along with growth in our mobile business, this will portend meaningful annual revenue growth for Keynote in fiscal year 2011.

For the first two quarters of fiscal 2010, Keynote reports:

For the third quarter, Keynote projects revenue of $19.0 million to $19.5 million.
