Doba Launches Enhancements to Technology Platform

Product sourcing industry leader introduces improved search and management capabilities to their wholesale dropship product catalog

The improvements come in response to requests from customers for easier, faster ways to find products to sell and better ways to get those products into multiple sales channels. The new technology improves upon a product catalog that was already revolutionary in the retail industry.

The improvements to Doba`s technology platform serve two strategic purposes: 1) to improve the searchability of the Doba dropship product catalog which contains more than 1.5 million products at wholesale prices and 2) to improve the users` ability to deliver the resulting product information into appropriate sales channels. Search capabilities in Doba`s product catalog have been improved through a complete restructuring of the product categorization. Categories have been streamlined and consolidated to be more consistent across product lines, brands, manufacturers and suppliers. Additionally, enhanced filters and databases have been added to increase the speed at which the average search is performed.

Once users have found the products they are looking for, they are able to get them online more quickly with on-demand export capabilities. Export formats have also been expanded to include XML and all formats are able to export full product data or simple inventory data. All product searches can be saved and monitored in dynamic Watch Lists, and new products matching the search criteria will be added automatically. These Watch Lists are not only used to manage a retailer`s online inventory but also to feed product information to various online sales channels such as eBay, Amazon WebStore, individual webstores and more.
