PUMA’s Retail Division selects Jesta I.S.’s Vision Merchandising and Vision SCM

Jesta’s global reach now extending across multiple continents

Herzogenaurach, Germany – January 15, 2007 - Jesta I.S., a leading supplier of business solutions for the consumer product goods, soft goods and specialty markets, announced today that the Sportlifestyle company PUMA will implement the Jesta I.S. Vision Merchandising and Vision SCM solutions for their retail stores in the European Economic Area (EEA) and North America.

With PUMA Retail business’ rapid international growth and continued success in the global market, they had outgrown their existing legacy system. PUMA needed to upgrade its current business systems to handle the increased volume of transactions, as well as to implement a multi-lingual system that supported multiple currencies. In evaluating Merchandising and Supply Chain Management systems, PUMA identified Jesta’s Vision solutions as the technology infrastructure to provide it with the advanced product planning, forecasting and allocation it needed for its growing business.

Furthermore, Vision Planning, a fully integrated module of Vision Merchandising, integrates the functions of merchandise planning, financial planning and analysis into a powerful tool that centralizes all data for one consistent view of planned performance. With Vision Planning, corporate financial goals are quickly distributed across all levels of inventory, driving optimal buying decisions and enabling quick analysis and action.

Jesta’s Vision SCM solution is a web-based system that will allow PUMA’s retail division in the European Economic Area and North America to manage store operations and provide visibility at a corporate level. The solution will give a clear view of available inventory for sale and order status in real-time for each store.
