24/7 Real Media Appoints New Technology Leadership Furthering Its Commitment to Digital Marketing Technology and Innovation

Vishnepolsky and Borruso will expand and enhance the initiatives started by Jeff Marcus who, after serving as CTO for two years, is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.

Oleg Vishnepolsky has a 20-year track record of technological innovations at companies such as AOL and DoubleClick. As AOL’s vice president of publishing and search, he was primarily responsible for AOL’s in-house publishing and search systems, as well as setting up agile processes and global teams to ensure rapid and iterative software development. Prior to AOL, Vishnepolsky served as DoubleClick’s vice president of marketing automation and ad management engineering, leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of DoubleClick’s core ad serving technology. As CTO, Vishnepolsky will continue enhancing 24/7 Real Media’s existing technology platforms while driving technological innovation for new product development.

Anthony Borruso brings more than 26 years of global IT management experience to 24/7 Real Media, including 16 years in senior IT positions with advertising agencies Bozell, Ammarati Puris Lintas and BBDO. Borruso’s primary role as CIO will be to manage the company’s growing IT needs, as it continues its domestic and international expansion, including managing data center operations, MIS functions and application scalability demands.

Vishnepolsky and Borruso will continue the work of Jeff Marcus, whose enhancements to 24/7 Real Media’s infrastructure have enabled the company to reliably scale its ad serving operations to deliver more than 160 billion ad impressions per month – a 400 percent increase during his tenure.
