Integrates with Pivotal Veracity
MINNEAPOLIS, July 12, 2006 -- BlueHornet Networks, Inc., a leading provider of e-mail marketing solutions and wholly owned subsidiary of Digital River, Inc. (NASDAQ: DRIV), today announced that it has expanded its relationship with independent e-mail delivery auditing firm, Pivotal Veracity. By integrating technologies and leveraging e-mail inbox data from Pivotal Veracity, BlueHornet now can offer tools within its eMarketing Suite version 3.0 (eMS 3.0) that allow clients to track and receive detailed delivery data on e-mail messages sent to the top 20 U.S. ISPs. The new integrated offering is called BlueHornet Domain Delivery Report.
The BlueHornet Domain Delivery Report, available as part of BlueHornet’s delivery management services packages or on a standalone basis, gives BlueHornet clients the ability to measure the effectiveness of their e-mail marketing efforts by learning what ISPs are doing with an e-mail once it is received. This feature allows marketers to quickly identify potential delivery problems with campaigns. Information reported within BlueHornet’s eMS 3.0 application for a specified e-mail launch includes the overall percentage of e-mails that were received, sent to the inbox, blocked, or filtered to bulk mail folders. All facts are itemized by ISP and presented in graphical format for at-a-glance impact.
“We are excited to see our relationship with Pivotal Veracity grow as we take the first steps towards a deeper integration,” said Tim Marusich, vice president of Digital River’s BlueHornet business unit. “With BlueHornet’s new Domain Delivery Report, we combine the best of Pivotal Veracity’s tools and services with custom screens and full integration into our e-marketing system to provide what today’s digital marketers want. We believe that BlueHornet’s focus on getting e-mail messages delivered to the inbox and keeping those messages top-of-mind gives e-marketers a real competitive advantage.”
“The BlueHornet Domain Delivery Report provides Rockler valuable insight into how our e-mail marketing practices are perceived by subscribers as well as by the ISPs themselves,” said Scott Ekman, Rockler Woodworking and Hardware’s vice president of marketing. “It’s exactly the information we need to correct potential delivery issues quickly.” Rockler Woodworking and Hardware (www.rockler.com) is one of the nation’s largest suppliers of hardware, tools and supplies for woodworkers.
