A.D.A.M.`s Health and Wellness Suite Will Enable Leading Drugstore Chain to Provide a Greater Depth and Variety of Health Information to Its Web Site Users

ATLANTA - May 8, 2006 - A.D.A.M., Inc. (NASDAQ: ADAM) today announced that Walgreen Co. (NYSE, NASDAQ: WAG - News), the nation`s largest drugstore chain, has licensed its health and wellness suite of products to help further position the Walgreens.com site as a trusted resource for health consumers. The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

A.D.A.M.`s health and wellness suite provides information for every stage of care and features interactive and multimedia tools like health and wellness-related articles, in-depth care guides, health calculators and health risk assessments. "With this expanded content, we are confident Walgreens.com will meet the growing need for online, reliable health information from a trusted source."

"With the growth of consumer-directed healthcare, more and more consumers are using the Web as a resource for health and wellness, and we applaud Walgreens decision to expand its offering to include more interactive and multimedia tools," said Greg Juhn, A.D.A.M.`s senior vice president of product strategy. "We feel these tools will not only help the company retain existing site users, but also attract new users."
